Meeting with government and emergency manag- ement officials for 30-yrs the pair is hoping their film will finally "turn the tide" bringing affordable disaster resilient homes to America's "Tornado Alley". ( -ABOVE ) CHRONICLING A 30-YR. STRUGGLE.
The film unveils several new "smarter" building technologies and proposes "jump-starting" the Midwest's economy by 3-D printing/ pre-casting and prefabbing such technologies and homes in the Midwest's under-utilized and shuttered factories.

Beyond a mere documentary, the film is a "call to action" sent to local, state and federal emergency management officials and to the "stick and brick" construction industry: Take disaster resilient building seriously!

that manufacture high quality prefab homes in factories. The film examines several affordable disaster-resilient building technologies
( -including SCIP panel, ICCF block, composite material block, "CF" cold formed steel, etc. ), and challenges America's home builders ( -and prefab home manufacturers ) to design a prototype home that can
serve as the ( new ) standard for "Tornado-Alley" home buyers.
IMAGINE AN AFFORDABLE ( $225K or less ) disaster-resilient home capable of withstanding EF5 tornadoes, large hail, earthquakes and fire. We are challenging USA builders and prefab home manufacturers ( -ABOVE ) TOMORROW'S "SMARTER" DISASTER-RESILIENT HOME!
to design just such a house! The builder or prefab manufacturer who accomplishes this feat will receive maximum publicity in "Windswept" our documentary ( -and this could lead to large contracts from FEMA and from the state governments of tornado-prone states wanting to rebuild their tornado-ravaged towns! ).
"CONCEPT HOME" Based upon Producer's current home ( -floor plan ). In "Windswept" our documentary this home may be rebuilt using a "smarter" more disaster resilient technology like ICCF or SCIP.
( OR ) It may be rebuilt using CFS Cold Form Steel ( OR ) possibly replaced with a Prefab "Smart Home" built to withstand extremes.
